Bill Wells
Candidate for City Commissioner
Covington is a city of neighborhoods. The vitality of our neighborhoods is important to the quality of life of our city. Listening to, and working with, our neighborhood leaders is the means by which city hall can stay attuned to the heartbeat of our city, understand what issues need to be addressed. With over 20 years of experience working in and with our neighborhoods, I know how important supporting our neighborhoods is to our city’s future. Here are some examples of how strongly I feel about being “from our neighborhoods, for our neighborhoods.”

One of the founders of the South Covington Community Action Association (2003) and served as president (2009 – 2011, 2022 - 2024)
Served on the Covington Neighborhood Collaborative(2000 – 2013, 2021 - 2023), a consortium of neighborhood associations working together to address neighborhood concerns, as Chair (2009- 2013) and Vice Chair (2007 - 2008)
Member of the Latonia Community Council since 2013 which developed Latonia UpTown (since 2018) for which I also served as Treasurer (2022 – 2024)
