Candidate for City Commissioner

I am a fiscal conservative. I believe one must live within their means and this goes for city hall. I support working to increase our tax base and not our taxes as a priority of our budgeting. City hall should be constantly reexamining the sources of our revenue and looking to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our expenditures. Here are some
ways that I have contributed to fiscal conservatism as a Commissioner.

  1. I recommended the adoption of a fleet management plan that saved the city thousands of dollars.

2.  As a Commissioner I recommended applying for The SAFER Grant (Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response), brought $1.5 million in federal monies through FEMA.

3.  In collaboration with Kentucky State Senator Chris McDaniel and State Representatives Kim Moser and Stephanie Dietz, the city of Covington was able to acquire state transportation monies to redesign and improve Hands Pike,
